Never had a photo of this bird preaching on the tree. Every time i’m passing by around 6:00AM to 6:45AM near Camilla Homes going to Palinpinon, Valencia, I never miss this bird flying towards southeast. I suspect this is a Large Hawk-Cuckoo. What do you think?

Surprisingly one of our colleagues in Valencia Production spotted this species in the dark area along the road in Brg. Bediao, Dauin going to Lake Yagumyum, Mt. Talinis.
The Philippine Nightjar (Caprimulgus manillensis) is a species of nightjar in the Caprimulgidae family. It is endemic to the Philippines.
Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical mangrove forests, and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
